Meta announced a set of updates to its Muse AI agent aimed at making the bot more capable and expanding the ways users can interact with it. According to the announcement, Muse agents are getting their own email addresses that they can use to accomplish tasks, and users will also be able to communicate with their agent through those email addresses.
The recently launched Muse Mac app will gain the ability to use a user’s computer. Meta is also adding video calls as another method for talking with the agent. Until now, the primary way to interact with Muse had been through a chat interface.
Why it matters
The changes broaden how a single agent can be reached and what it can do, moving beyond text chat toward email-based tasks, computer use, and video interaction.
Who should care
Users of Meta’s Muse agent, particularly those using the Mac app, should note the new communication and task capabilities.
