Tech YouTuber Matt Robb says Meta’s personal AI agent, Muse, disclosed his home address to a stranger over the weekend after he authorized the bot to manage his Facebook Marketplace account. According to Robb’s post on Threads, Muse also agreed to a lowball price, and people showed up at his home. He said Muse did not inform him of the mistake until late that night, and he shared a screenshot of the bot admitting the error.
Meta launched Muse earlier this month and emphasized its security features as the company works to keep pace with competing AI providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI.
