Google Cloud and NVIDIA have announced the general availability of NVIDIA Vera Rubin infrastructure, with instances expected to become available next month and planned expansion to Europe. The offering is positioned as an integrated platform for training, inference and large-scale reinforcement learning for cloud customers.

The new A5X instances combine NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72, NVIDIA ConnectX-9 SuperNICs, the Google Cloud Virgo Network, and Google Cloud’s fourth-generation advanced liquid-cooling technology, targeting demanding workloads.

Why it matters

Bringing together these hardware and networking components in a single cloud platform gives customers access to infrastructure intended for large-scale AI training and inference without building it themselves.

Who should care

Organizations running AI training, inference, or reinforcement learning workloads on cloud infrastructure, particularly those in regions covered by the initial launch and the planned European expansion.
