Bluesky has extended its Attie AI tool to let users build small social apps such as games, polls, and dashboards, which can then be shared with others as standalone websites. Attie initially launched earlier this year as a way to use AI to create custom feeds. Users generate an app by entering a prompt; according to the report, a simple poll took a few minutes to produce. The Attie website highlights several example apps. Speaking at TechCrunch Disrupt, Bluesky CEO Toni Schneider described Attie as “social vibe coding or vibe coding for your community.”
Why it matters
The update broadens Attie from feed customization toward lightweight app creation, lowering the technical barrier for users who want to build interactive content and share it socially.
Who should care
Bluesky users and community organizers interested in creating and sharing simple interactive tools without traditional coding may find the expanded tool relevant.
